How to Configure New Signagelive Menu Boards

Text instructions for the installation and configuration of your Samsung F, H and J Series (Tizen) display can be found below:

1. Power on your Samsung display by pressing the red power button on the remote (If you are not prompted with the factory settings seen below, please skip ahead to step 9)
2. Select the language in which to proceed (press ok to continue)
3. Choose the display orientation (leave as landscape and press ok to continue)
4. Disable Auto Power Off mode (press ok to continue)
5. Confirm network access, or configure the wireless network (press ok to continue)
6. Set display local date and time(press ok to continue)
7. Select URL Launcher*(press ok to continue)
8. Enter or choose a display name (press ok to continue)
9. Press home/ content button on the remote control
10. Select URL Launcher Settings

*Important: If you do not see URL Launcher Settings and instead see MagicInfo, please scroll to the bottom of the page and follow the guide found there

11. Select Install Web App
12. Enter Signagelive Player URL: http://clients.signagelive.com/samsungsoc/latest/v4 (select ok to continue) (Note: the 'h' in http needs to be lower case)
13. Select URL Launcher*
14. Within Signagelive config menu, set timezone of display (press down arrow on remote to continue)
15. Select display rotation, if any (press down arrow on remote to continue)
16. Select video rotation, if any (press down arrow on remote to continue)
17. Activate Remote Firmware Updates (press down arrow on remote to continue)
18. Save settings
19. Finally, in the OSD (On-Screen Display) section in the main menu: Set the Screen Auto Protection to 'Off' 
20. Your player will now launch and after downloading its content, will show the Signagelive activation code (if it doesn't, press Home and select URL Launcher)
21. Send a ticket to [e-mail] with the 6-digit alphanumeric code so we can activate your new screen

* If you don't see the URL launcher then your display may be set up to run Magic Info by default. Please see the guide found below:

In the event that you launch your Samsung panel and when pressing the Home button, and you do not see the URL Launcher or Change URL screens, this is because the panel is set to load into MagicInfo as opposed to the URL Launcher.

To ensure the device launches into the URL Launcher you will need to:

• Use the Source button to change to HDMI, DVI etc.
• When switched, click on the Menu
• Select "System"
• Scroll down to locate the "Play via" option.
• You will need to ensure that URL Launcher is selected under the "Play Via" setting.

Once stored, if you restart the panel the URL Launcher will load instead of the Magicinfo tools.
